Simple clothing is the best. Dress comfortable; avoiding busy patterns, large stripes, and large logos. Jeans or khakis for the entire family are always a favorite along with bare feet. Family Photo Tip:
Typically, mid-morning is the best time for young children they tend to be at their happiest! Please remember when planning a session outdoors, early mornings or late evenings are the best time for the optimal lighting.
When you book a family photography session, we will discuss possible locations. Comfort and lighting are important considerations as well as the feeling you want your photos to have. Whether at the studio or outside on location in santa barbara, plan on the shoot taking an hour, sometimes two when working with newborns due to feedings and diapers changes. It takes a while for everyone to warm up, to relax, and just be themselves around the camera.
